Darren has over 25 years of experience in the civil construction industry, bringing a wealth of knowledge in earthworks, drainage operations, and resource management. Originally a boilermaker by trade, he transitioned into civil construction, steadily progressing through leadership roles across multiple companies before joining Geographe Civil in 2019. His strong work ethic and expertise saw him promoted to Supervisor in 2023, overseeing the Talison mine site operations.
With a specialisation in earthworks and drainage, Darren has been instrumental in managing key projects such as the TSF 2 Wall Lifts, Explosives Pad Civil Works, and TRP Earthworks at Talison. His ability to coordinate personnel, manage resources efficiently, and ensure high-quality project delivery makes him a valuable asset to the team.
As a Supervisor at Geographe Civil, Darren is responsible for leading site operations, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and fostering collaboration among teams and our Clients. His strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills enable him to drive successful outcomes across all aspects of his role.
Darren holds a Certificate III in Civil Construction along with multiple machinery tickets and licenses. Currently undertaking the Statutory 26 Supervisor training course with Talison to align with DMIRS mine site requirements, he is committed to continuous professional development and aspires to become a Statutory Supervisor while further strengthening his leadership role within the management team.
