Brian Green

Operations Supervisor

Brian is a dedicated and driven professional with over 15 years of experience in mining and dam construction, excelling in leading efficient teams and delivering high-quality results. Known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety, he thrives in unsupervised environments and takes full ownership of his responsibilities.

With extensive experience in mine management—including load and haul, ROM management, rehabilitation, and tailings dam construction—Brian has played a key role in various large-scale civil infrastructure projects. His leadership ensures projects meet deadlines while maintaining quality and budget compliance. At Worsley, he progressed from operator to superintendent, overseeing tailings dam construction valued at approximately $60 million per year. Managing teams of up to 80 operators, he successfully navigated challenges related to material availability, design changes, and job scope variations while delivering multiple dam projects ranging from 2.5 km to 7.2 km in radius.

More recently, as Supervisor for the Greenbushes Lithium Mine TFS4 Tailings Dam construction, he managed a team of 65 staff and subcontractors, overseeing a 5-kilometer perimeter dam build. His ability to foster strong client relationships, ensure safety compliance, and adapt to environmental and cultural considerations—such as engaging Local Elders to navigate heritage constraints—was instrumental in the project's success, achieving zero safety incidents over two years.
